When It Seems Like The World Is Against You

I remember having conversations with kids, mine and others, when they would say “nobody likes me, everyone hates me”.
If we’re being honest we can feel that way at times as adults as well.

I always try to remind people that using the terms “nobody” and “everyone” is painting with a broad brush and not accurate.

Let’s cut right to it.

The whole world is not against you.  Sometimes we give the loudest people too much of our attention and we translate that to an untrue opinion of ourself.

Do not let the loud ones steal your self worth and joy.  Don’t give it away.  They have no right to it because they are only concerned about their needs and what they want.

Let me repeat two things today:
1.  The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room.  Don’t listen to their noise.
2.  Each day is filled with choices.  You choose who, and what, you listen too.  You choose what you fill your mind with.

One person, two people, even three people, do not make up, or reflect the opinion of the entire world.

Stay in touch with the people that support you, will encourage you, and will lift you up.  I guarantee they will, and may be waiting to do so.   You never have to go it alone.

Make the choice as to what, and who you let into your thoughts and mind today.

I’m cheering for you.
