Todd A. Gordon, CMAA (Certified Master Athletic Administrator)
Todd is passionate about studying and learning about leadership and culture. He believes that every day is a new day and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we interact with. Todd believes that this is our call to leadership and, in turn, helps to create a positive culture where people thrive and experience success.
Todd Gordon is in his third year as District Activities Director at Greene County High School. He came to Greene County from Des Moines Roosevelt (2015-2019) and served at Carlisle High School from 2012-2015.
Before coming to Carlisle, Gordon spent 7 years in Treynor, IA serving as their Athletic Director, PE Teacher and coached basketball and golf. During his tenure at Treynor the Cardinals won 49 conference championships and teams appeared in 16 state tournaments.
His experiences come from being in the education field for 37 years, coaching in a combined 69 total seasons, including over 61 seasons of head coaching experience the collegiate, high school and junior high levels.
Gordon is active in the Iowa High School Athletic Directors Association and served as a the President of the IHSADA during the 2018-2019 school year. He resides in Jefferson with his wife Deb. Todd and Deb have three married children and five grandchildren.
