The Chief Task Of Life

“The chief task of life is simply this:. to identify and separate matters so that you can say clearly to yourself which are externals not under your control, and which have to do with the choices you actually control.”

Even the Greek Stoic philosopher believed that the most important thing you can do each day is to control what you can control.  He just said it in a different way.

You can’t control what always happens to you, but you can control your effort, attitude, and your reaction to it all.

Focus on making clear what parts of your day are within your control and what parts are not.

The happiest people in life don’t necessarily have the best of everything, but they make the best of everything.

Make the best of your today and every day.

I’m cheering for you.
