Not Because The Coffee Cup Said So

Your approach to the day can’t be controlled by a saying you have on a coffee cup or a quote on Twitter.

Those things may get you to think but if you’re waiting for that to help you get through your day then you’re not going to have an effective or impactful day.

Your day and your leadership is a result of a consistent practice of your beliefs, ideals, and the integrity with which you do them.

Have confidence in your abilities and know that you are in the position of leadership you are in because somebody has trusted you to do your job and there are people counting on you to do it.

Be confident, but not prideful or boastful, in your abilities and lead people because of who you are and the talents that you have.
Not because a coffee cup saying told you that you were ready for the day.

I’m cheering for you.
