Day 25: Joy After the Turn

Mourn the past, then rejoice—God redeems.  John 10:10 (ESV) offers “…life… abundantly.”  Have you ever wasted time—had distractions—I sure have, but turning back brought joy.  What’s your detour?  Let go—He’s got abundance ahead.

Are you stuck?  Pivot to a different direction—He’s your victory.  I’ve seen regrets paralyze people—don’t let it get you.  Release any regrets and let God heal you.

There is a time to mourn, but you don’t have to live there.  A loss doesn’t have to be permanent—a loss can provide a new opportunity and a new life.

Trust Him—He’s turning ashes to beauty.  What will you release?  Celebrate—He’s waiting.

Questions:

  1. What do you turn from?
  2. How will you rejoice?

Day 24: Faith in Motion

Faith’s alive when it moves. James 2:26 (ESV) warns, “…faith apart from works is dead.”. Where’s God calling you? One step proves trust—your action is needed..

I’ve lingered, wished before—nothing budged.  Faith is a verb—move it.  Are you stalled?  God meets obedience—He’s waiting.  What’s your call?  A prayer, a deed—start.  If it doesn’t work out exactly right that’s ok.  Adjust, adapt, start again.

How will you move?  Trust Him—He’s in it.  Faith walks—prove and move yours today.  You are not alone in this.  He will help you stack those stones but you have to start.

Questions:

  1. Where does faith call you?
  2. What’s your step?

Day 23: Effort That Endures

Change demands effort—commitment, guts.  Colossians 3:23 (ESV) says, “…work heartily, as for the Lord…” When you slack off—becone stagnate—effort will  revive you. What do you need to push through?  God honors sweat for Him. It’s not easy—but it is holy.

I’ve coasted, lost ground—work woke me up.  My 5K training needs it—yours too.  Remember , your 5K is whatever you are pursuing to do.  God’s in every strain—He’s there.

How will you commit?  It’s kingdom work—your character grows too.  Trust Him—He fuels it.  What requires your all?  Step up—He’s crafting you through it.  Day by day.  Stone by stone.  Keep stacking them.

Questions:

  1. What requires your effort?
  2. How will you commit?

Day 22: The Eternal Anchor

Jesus is steady—life isn’t. Psalm 18:2 (ESV) calls Him “my rock…”  What’s rocking you?  He’s your anchor—unchanging and sure.  Release worry—He’s got you.

When my mom faced her storm—trust held her;  it holds me and can hold you.   He’s unshaken—yesterday, today, forever.  When fear creeps in He stays.

Are you shaken by something? Let go—He’s bigger.   How will you trust?  Control is a myth.  He is your truth, your rock.

Rest in His strength—it’s unshakable.  He never sleeps.  He never slumbers.  (Psalm 121:4). What will you release today?  He’s your peace—anchor there.

Questions:

  1. How does He steady you?
  2. What worry can you release?

Day 21: Flowing with Purpose

Life’s a river—adapt or stall. Romans 8:28 (ESV) assures, “…all things work together for good…”  Have you resisted turns?  Going with the flow can help you to be stronger and wiser. What change can you ride?  God can use it for good.

Past changes have crushed me, then they helped to grow me.  Current ones—remote work, changes in life—do too.  Are you fighting?  Step in—His current’s safe and He is there to help calm the waters.

How has change shaped you?  Trust Him—change provides a purpose, it is not not a punishment.  Step into the water and flow forward—He’s your guide and He is good.

Questions:

  1. How has change strengthened you?
  2. What can you accept?
